Celebrations!

The leprechaun made his annual visit to our home. Good times!

Sweet Mac with his new favorite shirt, a UNC football jersey.

Our neighborhood had a get together and the kids got their faces painted. The lady was a tattoo artist-in-training -- she did an awesome job and it only took her about 2 minutes flat.

Tomorrow marks the day that I've been married to Nate for a whole decade. Instead of celebrating on a tropical island somewhere like we had always planned, you'll find us at the ball park supporting our children as they chase their baseball dreams. At least I'll be with my Handsome and our four greatest accomplishments -- nothing to complain about there!
Happy 10 years, big guy! I'll love you forever!

UTAH

We started our trip out in Mapleton. While there we were able to catch up with old friends, spend time with Nate's family and eat at some favorite restaurants.
We also spent some time in Salt Lake City.

Nate and the two older boys also took advantage of the newly fallen snow and went skiing/snowboarding. The boys are naturals and can easily (and quickly) get down the mountain.

Grandma Elaine also had fun activities for the kids like marshmallow gun wars, searching for bald eagles and an early egg hunt.

Friday morning we headed to Logan to help get things ready for the baptism.

Mac had the opportunity to get baptized with his best buddy/cousin, Aidan. These two were born 5 weeks apart and have such a good relationship with each other. It was so fun to see them share such a special day together.

And what's a trip to Logan without a quick run to the farm?

The rest of our time in Logan was spent just relaxing with my family. It's clear in the pictures that my kids have no problem warming up to people they don't see very often.

Goodbye's are never fun. Mac especially takes them hard. It's nice to know we'll be back for another visit in a few short months.

The kids were amazing travelers. And believe it or not, I only had one person who asked me if all four kids were mine. :)

After cramming so much excitement in to 8 days, this picture of Jilli captures how we all felt by the time we rolled up to our house at 1:00am.

It was wonderful to spend such a special time with such great people. Congrats to McCade on making such an important decision to be baptized. We are so proud of you buddy!
